Pengaruh kondisi geoteknik lapis subgrade tanah lempung untuk jalan tambang tanpa lapis pondasi

Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah Desa Limamar yang tanahnya tersusun oleh tanah lempung kaolinit. Tanah kaolinit terendapkan diatas formasi warukin umumnya mengandung lapisan batubara. Kegiatan tambang batubara memerlukan jalan tambang.Pengumpulan data dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan, sampling dan uji laboratorium serta studi literatur. Data primer dikumpulkan berkait karakteristik antara lain; Sifat fisik (spesific gravity, densitas, kadar air, ukuran butir, batas atterberg) mekanik (Unconfined Compressive Strength Direct Shear Test). sekunder situasi lokasi penelitian, kondisi geologi regional, spesifikasi alat angkut tambang, klasifikasi formula geoteknik tanah.Hasil dari pengumpulan pengolahan diketahui, tanah: menggunakan standart pengujian ASTM D 2487-69 (lempung) sebanyak 59,26%-90,30%, (pasir) 9,42%-36,01%, (kerikil) 0,28%-6,67%., Pengujian Atterberg 2216-80 dengan uji: Batas cair (33,64%-66,32%), plastis (20,1%-30,61%), susut (19,3%-28,1%), Indeks plastisitas (12,45%-36,32%). berat isi 2937-83 (2,16 g/cm3-2,44 g/cm3). 3080-72 shear test adalah Kohesi (0,1364 kg/cm2-0,4743 kg/cm2) Sudut gesek dalam (14,040-25,310). Pengolahan diperoleh; AASHTO teridentifikasi jenis A-6, A-7-5 A-7-6, ground pressure Dutro 110 HD tiap roda ban sebesar 720,07 kPa, daya dukung ijin 87,38 kPa-187,84 kPa. Ground lebih besar nilai sehingga dinyatakan tidak mampu menerima beban masih belum layak untuk digunakan sebagai tambang.
